Dekompressor™

DeKompressor, first introduced to the region by Louisiana Pain Physicians, is an effective treatment for herniated discs.

Patients are given a local anesthetic to allow a probe to be inserted into the problem area. Using x-ray technology, Dr. Whyte will identify and remove disc tissue to relieve painful pressure on the surrounding nerves caused by a herniated disc. The procedure is not painful and only requires a tiny puncture in the skin – similar to a simple injection.
